In over eight years Grant Norling has appraised retail, office, and specialty centers across Oregon and has established himself as an industry expert particularly in the Portland metro area. The local market regards him as one of the leading retail experts from an overall knowledge perspective. Consistently he has demonstrated an ability to treat complicated value issues in an accurate and compelling manner. His job is to perform real estate appraisal services for a broad range of intended uses including lending, property tax appeal, estate planning, arbitration, divorce cases and litigation.

Grant has provided expert witness testimony in court on multiple occasions, headed lease arbitrations, and has presented property tax appeals to the Board of Property Tax Appeal (BOPTA). He frequently presents retail market reports for various real estate groups including CCIM, which he has presented to annually for the past six years. Lastly, he is in the final stages of obtaining the highly regarded MAI designation from the Appraisal Institute.
